One of our collection of Long Sheds, the Paddock has planning permission as a Permanent Dwelling. Clients Kim & Del Hogg  worked meticulously on their brief for their new tiny house, which they'll come home to between their expeditions filming abroad.

Clad in Black corrugate , and reminiscent of an agricultural building, it sits on a remote rural plot in the far north east of Scotland.  

 

Each space was detailed and fitted to maximise views, space and storage; and high quality fixtures, fittings and finishes were specified throughout. It was delivered complete and installed on the preprepared site ready for mains connections .

 

Ready for the colder winter months up north, the highly  insulated building has underfloor heating throughout , and an Apple Pie wood burner  sits in the corner of the living space .

The accommodation consists of living space  , with pull down projector screen for use when the view through the panoramic sliding doors . The kitchen is tiled in jade mosaics and the birch ply fronted unit holds a hob , oven, pull out storage , sink and tap. The integrated fridge freezer and cupboards with additional storage line the wall, and a the kitchen table doubles as office space with pull out storage under the kitchen units for equipment  .

The  hamam-style shower room is tiled in a darker green mosaic with complimenting  brass fittings ; the end shower wall is a full height window,  flooding the space with light , or, with its integral blinds down , offering privacy. Between the shower room and bedroom is stepped access to a mezzanine office space with Velux windows, looking over on to the double bedroom with storage divan bed , its windows framing yet more stunning views .
