Split Level Cabin

This split level cabin was designed for a water side site, cantilevering over Alt Dubhachain burn, its cosy window seat beside the wood burner, providing the perfect perch to view the cascading burn after the rain.
The interior is arranged over two levels , with the entrance hall, double bedroom and ensuite bath room on the upper level. Steps from the entrance hall take you into the living space with its fully fitted kitchen and dining area .
The six sided building's floor to ceiling windows frame every aspect of the location, taking in the impressive views and the ever changing colours of the loch and the surrounding hills.
A spruce window seat runs around the main living space creating sofa, window seat , hearth and finally, changing height and with the addition of a Colorcore laminate, it transforms into a bench and kitchen worktop . The sofa's crafted broad beech arms designed to take the upholstered cushions are also side tables. The pale laquered oak engineered floor throughout compliments the cool spruce panelled interior.
LED lights sparkle throughout the interior , with feature lighting in every space. A pair of black, Nordlux Sway 15 pendant lights hang either side of the sofa, and in the kitchen, a trio of copper and black Tub E14 pendants hang over the worktop; the bedroom has two copper enamelled Swing pendant lights, their cable zig zagging down the wall on cable clips ; and a pair of copper Fermaluce reading lights . All are by Creative Cables. Picking up on the warming copper theme, large format , copper porcelain wall tiles glow in the ensuite bathroom and compliment the grey floor tiles .
There is generous storage space to the double bedroom and entrance hall. The discreet cupboard doors to the entrance hall provide the perfect canvas for the elegant, contemporary landscape, designed and painted by Waterfell's owner.
