Rogue Restaurant, Edinburgh
Rogue Restaurant was designed by Echo Living's Sam Booth for Edinburgh restauranteur David Ramsden and was a Theme Design Magazine's Best New Restaurant UK National award winner.
"At Rogues, in partnership with designer Sam Booth, [Ramsden] has given the city its most stunning modern restaurant yet, a sweeping oval space with flowing curvy lines, fluttering white curtains, clean steel and black lines, enriched by marquetry wood and gold and black detail. It is jaw droppingly gorgeous." Joanna Blythman, Sunday Herald Magazine.
"The space turns the clever trick of making you look good in it, which is precisely what you want in a restaurant. The men's room is particularly splendid..." Charlie Fletcher, Scotland on Sunday.
"...Rogue had just won a ritzy award. It was not for the most dazzling lavatories known to mankind (though that it certainly deserves)...it was seriously plummy and indicated that those of us cruelly deprived of moetropolitan chic could soothe our style yearnings somewhere fabulous." Gillian Glover, Scotland on Sunday.
