One of a series of sustainable modular Pyramid Cabins Red Kite comprises  5 modules plus an exterior porch, and was  designed as a  full time dwelling for a couple whilst they  established their new farm. Now a rental property, visitors can enjoy Red Kite's sustainable on-grid design for themselves and experience elegant and beautifully detailed small scale living. 

An open plan space  with full size fully fitted kitchen, dining space  and  sitting room with log burner  are at the heart of the building. Around it sit the private spaces - the bathroom with rainhead shower and bath with a ribbon window and a relaxing view across the countryside;  and  a double bedroom. The  front  hall  is entered from the covered porch. Beautifully crafted wall units, a walk-in wardrobe in the bedroom, and a floor to ceiling  concealed storage wall in the entrance hall provide clever discreet  solutions for extra storage in the home.  Although under 30m2 internally,  the generous  windows and five  top lit  light wells fill the space with daylight and give the home a spacious feel,; this is certainly no ersatz tiny house .
