Commissioning an echo Building
Just email us with your particular requirements, and we will be happy to give indicative costs and any other information we think would be helpful to get your project moving. An outline of your proposal, images of your site and a google reference, are all useful and we can give you an idea the possibilities we can offer.
Each building is designed and built to order and, as such, costs vary depending on the wide range of specifications we can accommodate. We are not restricted in the variety of fixtures, fittings and finishes we can offer, and these include options for exterior cladding, glazing, flooring, and all interior fittings, including kitchen appliances, wood burners, and bespoke fixtures and furniture.
The Purchase Price we quote will include the build and installation, complete with all specified fixtures and fittings, as set out in the schedule of works. We will manage delivery of the building to site, where our team will install the building, ready for connection to any services or mains supplies required.
Our buildings are built for an agreed fixed price. We will supply the finished building, complete with all fixtures and fittings for the sum quoted, as set out in the drawing package and the accompanying schedule of works.
We are happy to offer preliminary advice on planning for our buildings. If you can let us know what your requirements are, the intended use of the building and the google reference for the site, we can offer preliminary planning advice for your project.
Once we have discussed an approach and you decide you would like us to work with you on your project, we would normally recommend a site visit. An opportunity to discuss more detailed requirements on site help us to establish a clearer brief and understand the local context of the site, which is valuable when putting together a planning application. A site visit also provides an opportunity to survey the immediate and local access for delivery of the building , to take note of the more critical dimensions and levels, and to plan and advise on any services required. We charge an agreed fee for a site visit.
We will draw up a design proposal to suit your requirements and provide an estimate for the build . Depending on the complexity of the brief or if the design is bespoke, we may charge a design fee. We would produce a preliminary design for discussion, and to provide an estimated cost for the building and, once it had your approval, a final design would be submitted to support a planning application
We can make planning applications on your behalf, and prepare a drawing package to support a planning application for single or multiple buildings, including all necessary location and site plans, and any additional information needed. The fee for this would be agreed beforehand and would reflect the level of work involved. The statutory fee for the planning application is paid by the client directly to their Local Planning Authority .
Once a design has been agreed, we would follow this up with a final quote, a schedule of works, and a schedule of payments. When you are happy with the design and all the details, we would put these together to form the basis of our contract with you.
