From the bespoke design through to the final installation, each unique ECHO cabin and site specific small building is designed and built entirely off-site at our workshops in southwest Scotland using high quality, innovative, and sustainable materials.
As Echo's name suggests, our hope is that our collection of environmentally responsible, small scale designs will continue to resonate and inspire far and wide.
Echo's founder, designer Sam Booth, brings ingenuity and a wealth of design experience to each project. Our unique timber panel construction evolved from Sam's original prototype for an award winning modular Pyramid Both, and Echo has gone on to design and build a collection of bespoke, site specific, small buildings, for a wide range of uses.

Our aim is to promote efficiency and elegance in sustainable, small scale living by creating beautiful and intelligently designed small buildings.
We hope that our collection of bespoke, site specific designs over the years has contributed to a raised awareness of an alternative, environmentally responsible approach to building and living spaces, even if only in a small way.
We design and construct our distinctive eco lodges, cabins and small buildings for a range of uses. Many of our clients share our passion for clever, sustainable solutions, and have offered thousands of visitors the opportunity to experience our off grid buildings first hand in their aspirational rental properties. we hope that the shared use and promotion of our buildings will continue to contribute to the conversation about a more sustainable future.
OUR TEAM
Our small, highly creative Echo team are responsible for designing and constructing each building. We bring a range of skills and experience, and we enjoy the challenges each new project brings. We also enjoy a highly productive four day week, allowing time to follow our own creative projects and passions.
